    The Ford Thames Compressor Truck refers to the Matchbox Lesney 28b model, a die-cast toy launched in 1959. It was a popular truck model based on the real Ford Thames Trader, a light commercial vehicle manufactured by Ford UK between 1957 and 1965. The model is known for its yellow color and replaced the earlier Bedford compressor truck in the Matchbox 1-75 series.
