Vintage cork fishing bob (police) for fishing on bottom lay. Traditional Czech fishing artifact. Colors: white upper part, blue lower part, red decorative stripe in transition. Cork is natural material with long tradition in fishing. Spring is functional - original steel spring in good condition. Wooden or metal fastening of cap. Police was traditional tool of Czech fishermen for bottom fishing - method where bait returns to water bottom. This type of bob served as fish indicator - when fish bit, bob sank below surface. Cork bobs with spring are rare - many were lost during use. Combination of traditional Czech fishing technique, vintage quality material, and functional spring make this item attractive. Ideal piece.
