Original FDC (First Day Cover) from Deutsche Post, German Democratic Republic, 1968. The cover contains 3 contemporary stamps and bears a commemorative postmark dated 6-6-68-12. This rare collectible from the DDR is an example of East German philately and postal history. The "Ersttagsbrief" marking confirms that this is the official first day of circulation of the stamps. A valuable specimen for collectors of stamps, postal covers or Cold War memorabilia.
