The 1985 Czechoslovak Spartakiad was the last and largest mass gymnastics event in Czechoslovak history. The Gala Program represented the ceremonial cultural component of this monumental event, held outside the main exercises at Strahov. The Palace of Culture was a prestigious cultural center of Prague and its congress hall provided an elegant environment for these representative events.
