Original press photo of Vladimír Zábrodský by ČTK marked "dnes" (today) with photographer Karel Novák's stamp. Vladimír Zábrodský was one of the greatest Czechoslovak hockey forwards of all time and member of the legendary line with brothers Bohumil and Jaroslav Zábrodský. He belonged among the stars of the golden generation of Czechoslovak hockey in the fifties and won several medals at world championships and Olympic games. The marking "dnes" suggests a current shot from the time of his active career. Karel Novák was a renowned ČTK sports photographer specializing in hockey photography. ČTK documented the career of this hockey great for Czechoslovak media.
