Original large press photo of Czechoslovak tennis master Tomáš Šmíd in large format, photographed by Alexander Tóth with marking (132). Tomáš Šmíd was among the most successful Czechoslovak tennis players and achieved significant successes on the international stage including victories in Grand Slam doubles tournaments. Together with Ivan Lendl and Jan Kodeš, he formed the golden trio of Czechoslovak tennis in the seventies and eighties. Alexander Tóth was a respected sports photographer specializing in tennis documentation. The numbered press photo represents professional sports journalism and a historical document of Czechoslovak tennis.
