Large format historic press photo capturing two football legends - Josef Masopust and Eusébio da Silva Ferreira, with stamp dated December 24, 1989. Josef Masopust was Czechoslovak football captain and 1962 Ballon d'Or winner, silver medalist from 1962 World Cup in Chile. Eusébio was a Portuguese football icon, 1965 Ballon d'Or winner and top scorer at 1966 World Cup. The meeting of these two legends from the sixties in a photograph from December 1989 has special symbolism - mere weeks after the Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia. Both legends were among the best players of their era and their joint photograph documents mutual respect of world football greats. Large format of the photograph increases its artistic and collectible value.
