Original postcard from XII. XII International Peace Race (Friedensfahrt) Berlin - Prague - Warsaw from 1959, one of the most prestigious cycling races of the socialist bloc. The postcard is marked with the number 111/18/187 and the price PREIS- DM 30. The Peace Race was often called the "Tour de France of the East" and represented the pinnacle of amateur cycling in Europe. A rare collector's item for cycling fans, lovers of the history of socialist sport or collectors of Cold War memorabilia.
