Expert note – FAQ

When did Viktoria Plzeň win the Czech league?
FC Viktoria Plzeň won the Czech top flight in the 2014/15 season and is one of the most successful Czech clubs of recent years. Tickets from championship seasons are interesting to collectors because they document individual steps towards the title.

What does the date of sale on a ticket mean?
Tickets sold through Ticketstream show the date of sale as well as the match details. This ticket was bought on 30 November 2014, the day of the match itself, most likely at the stadium box office. The detail helps confirm it is an original period ticket.

Why collect one club’s tickets by season?
Collectors often build sets of one club’s tickets by season, for example all Jablonec home games in 2014/15. This creates an overview of opponents, prices and sponsors of the time. Tickets from the same stadium and with a similar design are therefore worth more together.
