All-Sokol Rally in 1920 was the first post-war rally in the newly formed Czechoslovak Republic and had enormous national and symbolic significance. It represented a celebration of freedom and independence after centuries of Habsburg rule. Ženíšek was apparently an artist or graphic designer who created official rally materials. The 1920 rally was held with thousands of Sokol members participating and was a manifestation of Czech national identity. The postcard marked II-6 was part of a series of rally souvenirs. Unique memorabilia for collectors of Sokol documents, lovers of Czechoslovak history, or those interested in the first rally of the free state.
