POSTCARDS
A postcard (in common parlance, a postcard) is a form of postal correspondence that has a picture of promotional material on one side and space for a written message on the other. It is usually made of a thin, hard sheet of paper in a rectangular shape, but they are also found in circular, triangular, or more elaborate forms. They are usually used as a form of greeting sent with accompanying pictorial or photographic material to illustrate the point. On the reverse side, the sender usually fills in the recipient's address on pre-printed lines, a postage stamp is affixed to the marked rectangle, and approximately half of the possible viewing area on the left side is reserved for the written message.
